Accumulator to Filter line
Hey everybody!
My metal fuel line running from the accumulator to the filter appears to be a tiny bit "kinked". Is this a normal bend, or should I plan on replacing this line with the filter? I cannot seem to find a replacement part, though... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1367006445.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1367006598.jpg |
i fail to understand what the problem is. good photos, i assume it is on the 75 S were talking about. Does the car run now? any problems with fuel flow? those fuel lines are NLA so treat them like gold. you can have them made up from a shop. but i think your ok.

I just happened to notice what I thought is a slight kink in the line where it bends. Like I said, the car pulls hard (better than what I thought a 2.7 would), and has no running/ fuel issues that I am aware of. I was just curious if the bend looks normal to everyone. Thanks :) |
Looks like a normal bend for that short of a line with a radius that tight. Must be why they changed them a year later...

A couple of pictures of mine for comaparison. The change in fuel filters made this NLA.

^^^Thanks for the pic! Mine does look as if it is bent at a more extreme angle. I'm hoping the fuel system isn't stressed in some way because of the tighter bend. It is hard to tell how smooshed the line is.
