Interior light delay - Cause?
When I open the door to my SC the interior light does not turn on right away. This happens on either door. Before I tear in this problem, anyone have a clue where I should start? Or is this just how they are supposed to operate?
TIA

Remove the switch from the door hinge area and clean the contacts. It is not a sealed unit, and pretty lame from the start.
To remove it, pull off the round rubber seal and you will find a 10-12mm hex nut that you must turn ccw. Good luck

My delay was caused by the rubber cover. A hole wears into the over and the switch pin pokes through. I just removed the rubber cover and the delay is gone. I'd try that first before removing the switch.
