Clutch choise for my 3.6 + G50

Hi!

The stock clutch did last for 3 seasons, but now its slipping. It would have been easy to change 2 months ago when the engine was out of the car. Sure it will be a nice weekend job hanging out with friends and drinking beer.
But before we get into the operation I have to choose what clutch to throw in.

The specs are :
- 3.6 litre Varioram 300 hp + 370 NM
- Stock G50 gearbox ( stock clutch assembly as well)

The car is 90% street use, and my wife drives it as well. So it has to be easy to operate.

The alternatives which I have at the moment:

1. Spec stage II

911 1987-1989 3.2L Carrera, C2 Stage 2 Clutch [ SP022 ] - Spec Clutch Superstore - All your Clutch needs from Spec

2. ZF SACHS Replacement Clutch Kit - modified / reinforced -

ZF Sachs - Verstärkter Kupplungssatz f. Porsche 911 - S-Performance GmbH

One shop suggested Sachs HD kit as well. Im not sure what this is, and how much torque it takes.

Any comments, suggestions? I would like to hear feedback of the Spec kit, the price for it is very competitive.

I installed the Spec stage 2 but have very few miles on it so its impossible for me to comment on operation or long term use. Nicely made, perfect fit, seems to feel like a stock clutch with a slightly smaller grab range. Again, this is with very little use or breakin. The price was very right, as I picked it up new from a Pelican member. It's in an 89 with a 3.2 and a G50.

It's the same 240mm clutch as the turbo. The 3.6 is making right around stock turbo power. The clutch should hold considerably more than that. Like 40, 50% more.

3 seasons? Seems like something is wrong. Unless you drive 50,000 miles in stop-start traffic a season...

Spuggy, the clutch lasted 3 seasons in my 3.6. It was the old clutch from my 3.2. I have no idea how long it was in use...

Fitting the turbo clutch is new info for me. Do you mean this one: Pelican Parts - Product Information: 930-116-911-00-M38

An OEM solution is always the most preferrable.
