O2 Sensor Wiring Question
 

The original O2 sensor Terminals on my '84 3.2 w/3 wire O2 sensor had been changed by a prior owner who had terminated all 3 wires into a standard molded connector on both the harness and O2 sensor ends. I am using one of Louie's Delrin replacement plugs that will connect to the the shielded green wire in the harness. My question is; which of the 2 white wires in the 2 prong plug that is part of the O2 sensor attach to the yellow (heater) wire that goes to the ECM and which white wire attaches to the brown (ground) Wire in the harness?

It should not matter, the two wires just heat it up via signal current and should not matter which way it flows.

I had no issues when splicing a taurus sensor to the system.
