Horn Wire..Where to go?
Boy, I'm showing that I haven't worked on my Pcar in forever; I changed the turn signal, and it went swimmingly UNTIL I found an extra wire. Where does this wire go?
Any/All help would be great as I'm completely lost... Thanks

On my car that wire goes on the right screw holding on the lower cover. There should be a wire attached to that copper reed thats for the horn.

Thanks guys, so it goes on the small tinsey little screw on the lower right that holds the clamshell together? Sorry for the redundency, but it seems like the screw may be a little to small to hold this in place.

Yup. Don't know why they put such a large hole in the end of it.
It threw me off too thinking it must go on a larger screw.

Yeah not the greatest idea to sandwich a piece of plastic (tab) between the screw and the actual chassis ground but I guess Porsche there's not much stress going on there so it's good enough.
But for future reference, when wrestling with something like that in the future. It's a ground, it really can go anywhere there's a good chassis contact point. |
