Weird observations
 

Hey guys

Ive come across some odd things on my motor work. Its a 3.0 from ROW sc
I have divalier studs on intake and exhaust studs
I had standard nuts on all exhaust manifold studs, no barrel nuts.

Supposedly po changed the pistons, does any of this support.this.
Were people replacing the steel studs upon rebuild?
And finally, any way to determine piston type without pulling heads off?
