87 Euro 911 3.2 heavy hesitation during acceleration

Hello,

We have a 1987 3.2 (Euro spec) that has a heavy hesitation during acceleration, most of the time starting at 5000rpm, wide open throttle. Sometimes even around 3500rpm.

We had the alternator repaired (was broken) and thought it would be fixed as it was possible the car had not enough voltage, but problem was still there.

We checked the rotor and distributor cap, rotor had a small crack... replaced rotor and cap. Still same problem...

Today we changed the ignition coil, after a test we still had the same problem.

I checked the 2 sensors on the flywheel, both +/- 1015 ohm.

Is it possible that the sensors have good value but that they fail on some rpm?

How can the temperature sensor be checked?

I'll defer to other members insight but to me still haveing this hesitation after you have changed out these electrical components, this sounds like fuel issues. Filter or injectors. Full throttle switch.
Is idle good?

Idle is good.
Spoke to the owner, he cleaned the car with a high pressure water cleaner and according to him also the engine from some distance. The day after he had this problem. Looks like one of the components got damaged by water? But which part?
