Need Pics of jack and tool kit storage
I was hoping my new owners manual would have pics on how to stowe the tool kit and jack but it does not.
I have an 83 SC. The car did not come with a tool kit I have since purchased one. The jack was under the spare tire. any help would be appreciated. Thom

The jack is placed on two points on the front bulkhead and held in place buy a rubber strap (not visible, just out of the picture, on the left) and the tool bag is placed on the trunk floor below it, in front of the tire.

There are two pads also, one for the foot of the jack as seen in the photo and one on the horizontal surface that supports the other end of the jack. These should be glued in place but sometimes they disappear.

Since you bought a new kit, you may not need this. I searched on-line for a bit to find this so I could roll my kit up for storage. Don
