CCP Fiberglass
Has anyone used the CCP RSR front and rear bumpers? Quality, fit up? Any issues?

I will tell you that if you are concerned about it and finish..... the ONLY place to buy fiberglass or Carbon Fiber parts is Getty Design or M. A. Shaw...... learn from my mistakes trust me, these are the only two to deal with.....

I know MA Shaw personally.....he is meticulous on his product. TRE's stuff is well done. Never used CCP.

I have not had good luck with Getty.
Great products from TRE - rear bumper and front valance. CCP has a lot of good feedback on eBay - would like to hear from the Pelican community |

I know two people that have used them for their RSR widebody kits and fit and quality were great.
Hope this helps. |

bumper mounting
just finished mounting a rs style bumper and in no way does it mount to the orignal bumper struts so drilling out the rear bumper studs just doesnt work but the bumper i did buy was nice n thick and only needed vvry minor drilling for lic.plate/lites

I had nothing but bad luck with glass fiber rear bumpers. The first one from TRE was very poor fit and finish (unlike their engine lid and sunroof panel that were great). TRE did the right thing and refunded for the crap bumper but i still lost more than a month and considerable expensive workshop time before it finally went in the dumpster.
Then I got another from SVP in the UK. It was so tin and frail that now after about a month on the car it is already cracking several places and the nice paintwork was wasted. In another few months I expect it to join the first one in the dumpster. So where to get the third bumper from ? So far purchasing, shipping, import taxes and paint shop time which is expensive here, has cost me at least 1000 dollars and that got me a bumper for no longer than a few months. I no longer believe glass fiber parts can be ordered from anywhere
