Several questions ...

1. Does anyone know where I can find the plastic housing for the headlight bulb (H5) in pictures below? It's not on the dialgram on this site, nor at the dealership.

2. What is a good substitute for the insulation padding found under the seats (see pic below)? I had to throw out alot of mine because it was waterlogged.

3. Can anyone recommend a good adhesive for gluing the padding to the metal below? And (if different) a good adhesive for gluing the carpet to the cardboard insulation material below?

Thanks in advance!

I may have the plastic housing, you can have it for the cost of shipping. Let me check the garage, PM if interested.

1) no idear. come with a new lens perhaps?

2) I believe they sell that stuff. You are talking about the padding that is found under the carpet correct? If so it should be easy enough to find:

Carpet Padding - JCWhitney

Google turned up several other places as well.

3) 3M Super 77 or a variant there of. Can be found at your local auto store in a spray can. Follow the directions on the can and be happy.

Good luck!

i would suggest the 3m foamfast 74 over the super 77. it's what i used when i installed my new interior and i could not be happier. the nozzle has 3 settings built in for varying spray widths. you won't be able to find it locally but it is all over the net.

Last time I glued foam (prior to the P-car) I used 3M Hi-Tack 76. I like it better than Super 77 for foam. The 74 sounds like the best option, though.

Nineball did an amazing job on his interior and his thread on the process taught me a lot (I'm on my phone or I'd link it here, but do a search). I'd defer to his advice, but that's just me.
