Sometimes when pictures of cars are posted the licencse plate is blurred or blocked. Why? What can happen with your license plate? What about when the car is be driven in public, don't thousands of people see the licencse plate?

Sure, but with the specs of each Porsche posted on this site, and the fact this site is transmitted to every computor in the world that logs onto the site, it would make "finding" the right Porsche to steal fairly easy.

Paul? I believe that George Orwell was an optimist. Covering up the plate is probably useless...a sad opinion of our times. Locked and alarmed garage works well. The vast majority of car theft is NOT performed by pros as portrayed in "Gone in 60 seconds". edit: Paul, we've both posted our names & approximate locations from time to time. Do you think covering up a plate number would really make a difference?

Paul, yea I agree. I'm just try to provide some sort of justification for blocking out the plate.

I remember JackO used to block out his plate. Now that he doesn't, we know why he did. :D
