IPad picture help
Whenever I post a picture on Pelican from my IPad it posts upside down. When I preview the picture it looks perfect on my end,yet when it posts it appears upside down. Anyone have any tips to correct this. Thanks in advance John Szabo

I don't know mac that well, but occasionally I have the same with Win10.
I'll note that all of my pics are imported from my iphone 5 to my pc. In windows, in windows explorer, I noticed sometimes that the thumbnail will not be oriented with the opened pic, so I suspected these might be problematic and re-oriented the thumbnail and pic as reqd (rt click operation). That said, I've never tested this theory but I haven't had a prob in a couple of months.

When you take the picture flip it 180 degrees by using the ipad built in editor. Then upload. Its a pain because even if you dont flip it it looks ok to you but not to others.

I use my iPad to take and upload pics. Are you taking your pics with the rotation lock on? I take mine in the horizontal position with the home button on the right.

I downloaded Rotate Mailer on my iPhone (higher resolution than my iPad) which freezes the pic to the original orientation when I send it to my iPad. Then I can post on the forum from the iPad always with the correct orientation.
Only downside is that Rotate Mailer only allows 4 pics at a time. Better than nothing I suppose. Cheers, Johan
