Wheel Question

Interested in running a 2nd set of Wheels/tires on my Carrera Track car. Currently running 16x7 225s and 16x8 245s...

Is anyone running 17s and how big can you go (with rolled fenders) 17x9 fronts / 17x10 rears and "with what offset" ?????

thanks for feedback

I have a set of 16x8s/16x9s for track use. They are ET 23.3/15 with 225/245tyres. I have noticed slight rubbing on the inside front fender wells. .

My street wheels are Cup1 17s, 7s and 9s. The car is lowered to appx. Euro ride height with 22mm wm sway bars, Bilstein sport shocks, rolled front lips and stock t-bars. I would have to tweak this setup for the track as there is occasional scraping rubbing. Had a problem with the ds rear tyre making contact with the outer fender lip. Luckily the spring plates 'fine adjustment' was all the way down so I was able to get the rear up ~ 0.5" without reindexing the t-bars. Doing this was a lot of work and got me thinking about going to rear coilovers.

Ok...so you think 17-9/10s might be pushing it? I've seen guys run them, guess I need to ask more questions.. 16s leave lesser rubber choices and I was looking for less oversteer in my butt with wider tires..
