NY/NJ/CT Porsche's and Pastells Summer kick off run

Summer is here and it's time once again for a run. So get your cars out, put on your brightest pastel colors and lets go for a drive to celebrate summer (and my graduation from college)

Day: Saturday June 1
For the NY/Westchester crowd
Meeting Point: The parking lot across from the entrance to Rye Playland.
Meeting time: 7:45AM
Route: head to stamford at 8:15 to meet the CT Region PCA run see info below

Meeting point: Starts at 8:30 Star Bucks, 1089 High Ridge Road Stamford, CT 06905
Route: A map will be handed out when you arrive.
Please note that you will have to sign a waver when you arrive.

There is a CT region Porsche run that weekend that I think we will be joining up with. It is being planned by a friend of mine so I'm still waiting on the details but we will most likely meet in Westchester and then head up to Stamford where their run starts. Sounds like it could be a great day.

This is my coffee run I am doing for the CT Valley Region Porsche Club, it is a 100 mile drive From Stamford, CT to Kent Falls CT and 60 back to Stamford, CT, all drives will need to sign a CVR Waiver and be given directions, last few coffee runs I have done usually bring 30+ Porsche's, Dave and I have done a lot of drives together with 10-30 cars so this should be a great run and we might have to run/start it in 2 groups, lunch spot picked, great roads and of coarse our Porsche's

In short the CT region PCA is doing a run that day so we will be joining them. The run starts in Stamford and should be a good time with great attendance.

From the looks of it there seem to be a good number of people coming from the westchester area. Would people want to meet somewhere in westchester and then head to stamford or just head straight there? I am up for either, post your thoughts here. Typically we would meet at playland but since the park will be open I don't know if we can get into and use the parking lot like we usually do. Last time we meet in the lot across the street which works for me, its also close to 95 so we can get right on and head to Stamford.

Will is right, there is no reason to stop in rye for those coming from farther away. Those from the area, I will still be there around 745-800 to get together with the locals. That is where I get on 95 to head north anyway so its no issue for me to stop there. I will leave the lot across from Playland at 8:15 to head up to Stamford, if you are passing buy around then feel free to stop otherwise I will see you all there.
