Cab latch motor stopped functioning
 

The driver's side latch motor isn't functioning. I haven't had a chance to check it with a voltmeter to see if it's receiving power, but is there anything else I should be checking? The sensor that indicates that the top is ready to latch works, as the passenger side latch is functional. It's a 90 C4, and I had already made the top manual (except for latching)

OK - I played around with it a bit and it's the motor itself. It must have skipped a gear and loosened up. I took it off the roof - has anyone successfully opened one of these up and realigned it? Just playing with the screw didn't work.

Nevermind - I opened the mechanism and found that the drill bit looking part that turns the gear had snapped. Anyone have an extra part # 911.624.055.01? It's the motorized latch mechanism for the driver's side (might be the same number for the passenger side).
