Correct color of '72 911 Oil Tank
I see most reconditioned oil tanks painted a matte or semi gloss black. The one I have on the shelf has remnants of brown paint over the copper coating. The brown paint looks to be a factory application and what remains in only on the inside. The fender/outer side does not appear to have been painted. Which color is correct? Thanks, Art
