Hood Lip Rusted any ideas?

Hi Everybody,

The Lip that holds the hood rubber at the front of the car has rusted out (see piccies0, is there a replacement strip available or does anybody know of a DIY fix?

Other than that the area is pretty sound.

I replaced the same piece on my 1972, have a look at my post here

Its Alive!!

It is or was available from Pelican, but you might be surprised at what the Porsche dealer wants for it freight included.

That piece was ordered from my local dealer but I see its available from Pelican. Its a 901 501 310 20 simply described as 'Bracket'.
