Passenger Seat Rattle...

I have an annoying rattle emanating from my passenger seat back-rest and/or rails that I can't seem to get rid of no matter how much I tighten nuts'n'bolts

I'm thinking of replacing my front seats with 993 seats anyway, so I was just wondering who's performed such a mod and whether it's a 'simple' bolt-in upgrade.

Advice much appreciated!

G'day Merv

Not sure if my 80 is similar to yours but I had a similar bug and found that the problem was a loose hex or allen key bolt that secures the upper seat-base rail to the base of the seat frame (not the bolts securing the lower floor-rail to the floor) The only way to get at these is to remove the seat, spin it upside down, slide back the floor-rail to reveal and tighten the seat-base allen key bolts, two for each rail.

Either that or its the loose change you threw down on the seat after coming out of the 7-11and It's fallen through and rattlin' around when you were delivering up that sermon to the wrex!
Next time, chuck in the Street Kids tin

Seems silly but mine was the passenger seatbelt receiver (the thing with the release button on it) rattling against the driver's belt receiver. Make sure it isn't leaning against anything.

Now if I could just locate the rattle in the driver's door....
