Removed the drivers seat - found this

I removed my drivers seat in order to set it back an inch or so to allow more leg room and found this unused electrical connection - anyone know what it is for? Found another one in the boot near the fuse box but don't have a picture/

It's the connection for the cabin temp sensor, for the automatic heat controller which your car is not equipped with.
