Must be "Early Car Week" on eBay! Several nice examples. Had the same seats in my old 73. Guesses on reserve? I'll say $14,500. -- Curt

"MY WIFE REALLY WANTS SOMETHING WITH AIR CONDITIONING...
CAR HAS AIR CONDITIONING BUT THE COMPRESSOR IS NOT INSTALLED ,EVERYTHING ELSE IS THERE."

Seems like a pretty thin excuse to sell the car. The ad reads like it was written by used car saleman with a 4th grade education. Something smells fishy in Florida.

So who in West Palm Beach can check this one out for nostatic? It'll also be interesting to cut through the seller's hype and find out that this car is really like.

I'm with Mark on this one. Over $33,000 in receipts, but too cheap to fix the air conditioner? And spent $185 a yard for the seat material, but too cheap to put in new floor mats? Check out the big wear hole by the bottom of the accellerator pedal. And why no pictures of the engine compartment?

Underneath all that hype, there is a pretty nice looking car. Has the complete S trim pkg, including the wheel well strips, original dash, with the AC venting integral, etc...
I grew up in the WPB area, cars do rust there due to the humid, salty air, over time...but this one looks like it has been garaged.
Lots of little Richie Rich's in that area with expensive toys, for many years back.. Many left cars like this in their mansion garages for the 9 months of the year they were back up north, only used in the area..
It would be interesting to trace ownership maybe... GADS! I don't want another car, do I????

PS....What a great start for an R Gruppe machine, just add 3.6 and stir...

Uhhh... wouldn't it depend on how you describe it? Perhaps California Classix offers lessons? Their descriptions are anything but understated!!

hey, I said it *looked* like a good car, not that it necessarily was one. Reading between ALL THE CAPITAL LETTERS, it seems as though the owner does sell cars for a living. And I can't believe the condition of his prose!

No need to look at it for me. I really prefer to lay my hands on the car myself, and have a PPI in the works on a local beauty. But then again, if we get more distance-PPIs like Marc's (and a few others posted here in recent months), maybe buying long distance isn't so bad. The power of Pelican

If everything goes well, a certain underground militant organization will be very happy.

That's all I can say right now....
