Power Antenna
I am having trouble figuring out where the wiring goes for a power antenna. Can anyone help? There is a red, black and a white wire.

If no power antenna previously, you'll need 12 volts power, and a ground, and a way to switch it up and down. Usually, the switching wire connects to your radio, so when on, it goes up, and for off it goes down.
On mine, I added another switch into the cabin to disable the up/down when I am only using the CD or mp3 input, the antenna stays down, put away. You can get 12 volts (switched, so it only goes on when the key is on) over at the fuse panel inside your front trunk.

I think red is constant power
Black is ground White is switched power, typically a blue lead on modern stereos. Rich |
