Temporary downgrade from 3.0 to 2.7, needs parts list
 

Hi there, my 3.0 in my 82sc needs a rebuild which I plan on doing myself. For the time being I was going to but a 2.7 from a 77 911s (that I have had in the garage) in the car because I want to drive the car while I take my time doing and learning the rebuild on the 3.0. What are some of the things that I will look to change to make it adapt and fit or is it a simple plug and play?

Clutch/plate?
Fuel pump (different pressure)?
etc...

3 pin cdi, oil line to tank

Pretty simple You'll need the 3 pin CDI as Finty says The fuel lines may be different and you'll need a 2.7 Tach though an autometer will work Oil lines, clutch, are the same
