Cab Top Front Latch Problem
 

The front left latching mechanism on that locks into the top of the windsheild frame on my 964/911 '94 Cab is not functioning correctly.

The top goes up and down as it should but when putting it up it locks into postion fine but then the left front lock motor keeps runing/turning the latch until the operating switch is not depressed. The dash light does not go out but the top is solidly locked correctly in the up position.

When the top is fully down, the dash light goes out as it should.

The left main locking micro switch part # 911 613 015 00 was replaced when the top was 2 years ago.

Any ideas?
