Question about oil pressure
The oil pressure is bothering me. I haven't driven the Porsche in a long enough time to remember (just came off a rebuild) but I always seemed to remember the oil pressure being 1 bar for every 1K rpm. This holds true until the engine is warm then it maxes out at 3 bars or a little above and stays there until the rpms drop below 3K. Pressure at idle seems to be good. Midway between 0 and 1.
is this normal or do I have a problem some place. car now has the oil fed tensioners and SSI's which means the old style oil lines.
