fuel line leak check?
I would like to check my fuel lines for leaks after I replaced the tunnel lines and fuel pump. (The engine lines were done a couple years ago). I also replaced the tank filter/screen.
I am doing the rear suspension and clutch mater/slave cylinders too so things are disassembled. The batt' is disconnected, and she's up on stands. I put a gallon of gas into her last nite and saw no leaks, then I added another gallon this morning, but I would like to run the pump to 'load' up the fuel and return lines to test the front and rear tunnel connections before I replace the belly pan and drive on with the rest of this growing project. Can I temporarily reconnect the bat and jumper the DME fuel pump relay at 30 to 87b without some sneak circuit getting in the way like the starter? I don't want to get under it and apply juice to the FP. Nor do I want to wait until it is all together. Thanks ![]()

update - I tried jumping DME FP relay socket 30 to 87b and the FP worked fine.

I did that last weekend. I just started her up, crawled under, and waited. No leaks, so buttoned everything back up.
