marelli or bosch

Ok, did a 71t with a 2.4 ever come with a marelli dist. and if so... will one of my bosch 2.7 dist. 74, 75 or 77 fit? a recurve wouldn't be a problem for me. I just don't want to wear out anything prematurely. Went and looked at this car today and looks like I have permission to purchase.

The Bosch units will fit, sorry don't have the actual part #. It came with the 2.0 914/6 motor and the 2.2 T.

The Marelli cap and rotor are no longer available....

A 71T came with a Marelli but not a 2.4L motor - they were 2.2L! -- Curt

Sorry, its a theft recovery and a 72 2.4 installed. I should of gave a little more detail.
