JWest vs Wevo G50 shift kit
Anyone have feedback on these two kits? I am leaning towards the JWest kit to keep a stock look but if the Wevo functions substantially better, I will consider that route.
I believe the JWest is advertised as reducing throw by 25% and the Wevo by 30%.

I love the stock appearance of the JWest. Even takes the stock shift knob.
The JWest, in conjunction with their firmer coupler pillow and WEVO mounts, is quite amazingly precise. Compared to a really good 915 factory short shift with WEVO coupler? Well, there's just no comparison. Haven't tried the WEVO G50. Sure that's good too.

I installed the JWest G50 short shift kit in the 88 over a year ago. I couldn't be happier. Shifts are short and precise. Big improvement. I installed it myself with zippo experience with the G50.

Have the Wevo in my G-50. My wrench talked me into it. It was a significant improvement over my stock re- bushed shifter. Money well spent!

I have a WEVO classic shifter installed. It shifts great with a very precise action. It looks totally factory and will fit under the boot and will accept the stock knob.
