LeLand,
You got to admit those relays played the part of very expensive fuses. By the way, I hope, I am almost finished diagnosing my rear tailight fuse problem. I would have finished it up over the weekend but house concerns got in the way. My work screen saver is a Porsche wiring diagram. Yes, I am a sick unit. -Don |
Leland,
I finally got my tailights working again on my '66. It was a combination of corroded terminals, faulty wiring, and a shorted Right Parking lite. It still isn't perfect as I removed fuse number 7 which is for the Parking Light R.H. But.. at least I will be able to drive the car again in pursuit of my original quest which is oil leaks. By the way I was able to get some Generic fuses at Advanced Auto. Not sure if you have a Advanced Auto in Idaho. They said "for German Cars" on the Package and are made by Buss. They are glass style. I am not sure of the amperage as I have not yet found it on the package. This is of some concern as of course I want the fuse to blow when I need it to and not the wiring !! Don |
