Help identifying parts please
Hello all,
I recently purchased a bulk lot of parts that included some items I am struggling to identify. Although I know what some of the items are I am not sure what model they relate to and after hours of going through the Porsche PET I decided to post some photos here to hopefully get some advice. I am not even sure they are all 911 parts but thought this would be a great place to start. I have over 150 items I can't identify so have started with a few below. All help greatly appreciated. If you know what car they come from it will give me a starting point in PET to try and locate a part no, even better if you have a part no that would be great. Thanks in advance, http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023444.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023483.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023515.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023562.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023707.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023810.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371023961.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371024116.jpg |

Second picture, early 915 C/V joint ('72-'75) Third, Beetle release bearing Fourth, sway bar drop link. 993? Fifth, 944 turbo oil feed pipe Sixth, misc. valves, what diameter are stems and valves? Seventh, stud? Eigth, left to right 911 right cam oil line with carrera tensioner ('84-'89), left oil line upto '83, left oil line '84-'89, 944 turbo oil feed tube |

The 964 cross over pipe PET part no 951 351 971 00 Connecting line (looks slightly different on PET but could certainly be this part) 2nd photo has been advised this could be 944 or 924 wheel bearing 3rd Beetle release bearing?? Would the same part have been used on early 911's or 912's?? Looks similar to a 924 release bearing but not 100% sure 4th No the drop link on the 993 rear sway bar seems to have both the bolts facing in the same direction 5th agreed PET no 951 107 317 05 Oil Pipe (connects to Turbo) 6th Will measure and advise shortly 7th Stud will measure so hopefully we can work out what motor it is from 8th Thanks checking PET |
Still think 2nd pic is a C/V joint for an early 915 trans, part # 911 332 032 02
The 924 uses the same release bearing as a Beetle, part # 113 141 116 B I agree that the sway bar link may not be for a 993, I thought it was a front one, but forgot the 993 one is shaped like a banana |

Agreed about 924 release bearing PET shows part no as 113 141 165 B Also agree the other part could be as suggested 911 332 032 02 investigating further here a a few more http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371196156.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371196186.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371196223.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371196256.jpg |
Update on the valves and the stud shown in earlier photos
The stud shown below is approximately 193 mm in length and 10 mm diameter any idea what motor this could be from and the part no http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371217543.jpg The valves from right to left measurements below, done with a ruler so no exactly perfect. Can anyone tell me what motors they maybe from and possible part no's http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371217669.jpg 1. 35 mm diameter 134 mm length 2. 38 mm diameter 111 mm length 3. 37 mm diameter 114 mm length 4. 34 mm diameter 112 mm length 5. 41 mm diameter 115 mm length 6. 41 mm diameter 115 mm length |
Just an update I think the 4th part maybe a stabilizer mounting for a sway bar on a Panamera part no 970 343 069 21
Anyone agreed or disagree with me on this |
