Need more space in your engine compartment?? :)

Ok, you've all seen beetles with fiberglass porsche bodies, but how about a 911 with a beetle engine?

check it out!... http://home.talkcity.com/PrimeTimeDr/gregmusso/index.htm

could be yours!

Those rear bumpers don't fit too well...

It's about the nicest thing I can say about this car... What a waste of a 964 decklid!

<b>"That white stuff around the edges is car wax because I have always kept many coats of wax on my beauty. I admit I fully enjoy waxing on nice days!"</b>
Guess he is not quite as happy removing the wax!

Porsche_monkey 07-25-2002 04:49 AM

I think this could be described as a 'rare' car.

We should all thank this fellow for complimenting us.

We are all "rocket scientists". As such I declare that we all now add the letters PhD as a suffix to our screen names (what the heck, it works for Stephen Kaspar).

Nice wiring job in the trunk. Meticulous is the adjective that comes to mind.

Maybe this guy should be a pal and include some POR-15 with the sale to ease the buyer's mind?

Botman 07-25-2002 05:28 AM

I feel so "stoggy" after reading his descriptions. I think the headliner may fall on his head any moment now. What a P.O.S.

Porsche_monkey 07-25-2002 05:29 AM

Looking under the hood it looks like the car was dipped in red paint. Maybe he could provide a 300 gallon vat of POR-15.

Paul Valcourt 07-25-2002 05:32 AM

Is this what you would call a poser?

Porsche911NYC 07-25-2002 05:42 AM

B.F. Goodrich's on the back, Hanook's at the front, and NO Hood Emblem? Also, what color were the wires before he painted them? Seems like the "previous owner" did alot of restoring; what do you call what he did?

PDACPA 07-25-2002 05:53 AM

Whats with the Fiero Steering Wheel????

cegerer 07-25-2002 05:55 AM

Let me be the first to ask that age-old question:

<b>WHY???!!!</b>

-- Curt

Porsche911NYC 07-25-2002 05:58 AM

"perfect for a hobbyist/enthusiast, not a seasoned mechanic"

A seasoned mechanic would be afraid, very afraid.

targa80 07-25-2002 06:38 AM

Why do I feel embarassed! I don't believe this car can be called a Porsche any more! What a crying shame

Axeman 07-25-2002 06:52 AM

I like the description..."87 Turbo"...I didn't know they made C2 bodies in 87. I also like the hood shocks a lot...are those custom?? Let's face it, the only good things left on this poor car are the decklid and the bug motor!! :D

The elongated photos make the car look like it is being sucked into a black hole.

"Any rust in these pictures is just surface rust and would be easily removed with a wire wheel and sealed with POR15 metal surfacer paint."

Maybe except for that bit with the hole?

It was hurting my brain to look at those warped pix, so here's a version without the strange re-sizing

http://www.calweb.com/~thom/x.html

And I don't think that's a C2 lid - I think it's some tack-on thing.

I can't stop laughing!
I did'nt notice a price on this car?? I couldn't go all the way through the pics it was so bad. I don't think I've seen anything like it!!.http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...oilet_claw.gif
