BUYERS BEWARE of Noel Ambrosio"Renn"

It appears that I have been scammed. I sent a check to Noel Ambrosio "Renn"(the name he uses on Pelican's web site) at asautowerks in Phillips Ranch California (909)629-4065 for parts on April 12-00. He sent the parts some were correct and others were not (a complete 78/79 CIS system), and others were missing. I was told to return the CIS for a replacement or a refund. Now 2.5 months later no parts no refund no email response and he will not answer the phone. I am now out about $650 including shipping and parts. If any one knows Noel and/or can be of any help please contact me. Thanks, Kevin 361-225-2727
P.S. I wish it had not come to having to post this message, but I am left with no choice. ****Buyers Beware***

Huge thanks for posting this. I was very close to buying a set of wheels from this guy and most likely would have been scammed too. Thanks again!

Cant let this SCUMBAG slip to the second page! I bought a few things from him-complete Carrera interior and misc interior parts and all went well. Thought I purchased a horn bracket, license plate bracket and a smile and I received a busted up smile and nothing else!! It was only $75.00, but its all about principle and not being a SCUMBAG!! Thats right SCUMBAG!!! When I last spoke with him, he was excited about posting some new stuff he had just received!!

You guys need to contact the police on this joker, otherwise he will just move on and scam someone else. Call the police in his area and ask for someone in the fraud division who is working on computer/internet crimes.

If no luck, then go to the local DA and ask to talk to them. Advise them that someone in their area is selling items over the net then not delivering.

One of the two above should work, they did when I went after someone who scammed loads of us on Ebay selling computer stuff then telling us that they had been mailed and we never got them. I found a person in the PD who bought things over the net and after a police officer went to his door, talked to his Mother/Wife, the checks started coming to us... seems its better than jail!

Keep pushing him... do not let this happen to someone else.
