http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371259647.jpg Found a 100,000 mile original paint 1983 SC around the corner from where I work. It has been 4 months since I sold my 69S and I was bumming as my friends went off to their rallies. The car is a great survivor! Needs a little sorting, some suspension re-freshening, a touch of resealing and a dashboard replacement. The second owner was more of an American muscle guy and the car shows it. Next stop it goes up to Mark Burkit in Allentown for a review of my purchase. Then he will be onto fixing some minor maintenance issues. After two long hood restorations this car is a delight. That is not to say it will stay mechanically stock. It will be more of controlled slide down the slope... A big thanks to Monde and Lew for their taking my phone calls and discussing every car I have seen for the last two months.... |
Nice Luke!!!! Good to see. Back on the slippery slope???

Inevitably

Back in the saddle again...! Nice and enjoy it.

Very nice I have a 78 Targa myself the SC is a great car. I see you are in the Philly area, I just moved to CC and would love to take a drive as I have no idea where the good roads are around here. We should organize a run with local pelicans if you are in. On top of that if you need any help with the car I know a fair amount about it and would be more than willing to help.

Luke, need anything? I have a spanner wrench & a belt. Don't need either for the 3.6.
|
Nice. I look forward to hearing about your work on it.

Thanks for the kudos....
Dave send me your email we have a very robust porsche group that gets together often.. today we were at Cars and coffee in west chester and there were easily 20 porsches from a 400 mile 2011 GT3RS lightweight to a 80,000 mile 356 super90 Cab Mark... can't wait till I show you this it is had to believe it is a 100K car... This car is very sweet but I could see using it as a daily driver v. an race car.... It appears it needs to be driven to blow out the cobwebs........ then on to sorting.... |
