Wheels to fit over big reds
I searched figuring this topic had been covered to infinity but I didn't see anything.
Is there a list of wheels and wheel styles that clear big reds? I have a set of 16" Duralight wheels that work for lightness but I'd like to know before upgrading wether they would fit or not. Physical dimensions may work; appreciate any help. |

I have Big Reds on my 77 and have 17" BBS LMs. A friend has Big Reds on his 89 Silver Anniversary and needed 17" Turbo Twists to clear. His 993 cab runs 997 Carrera S 18s, but 17s should suffice.

Thanks man, the 16" wheels I have are very open due to having spun shells but without physically putting them over a set I won't know probably.

Yes, do a test fit as that is the only way you'll know. There is a possibility you might need spacers to clear the caliper.
