Came across this while cruising eBay:
It's a 1995 993 coupe with high miles (142k), but was rebuilt at around 90k. It is also a great color with nice (993 Targa) wheels. It's currently at $24,600, but has a "buy it now" price of only $28,900! That is officially the lowest (retail/private sale) price I have seen on a (non-salvage, presentable) 993. If it is as described, it could prove to be a pretty good deal, even with the high miles. |

I remember seeing a cab 95 993 that went for 24,500 or something like that (less than 25K) about three to four weeks ago. It wasn't perfect but hey you could buy a lots less car for 25K.

nice car
Looks like a nice car. If it does not work out, I've got a 1990 C4 cab in triple black with 97,000 miles available. It's gorgeous with new wheels and tires and all service records for $25,000 in the chicago area. rsuss@execpc.com

7-26-02 Portland (OR) OREGONIAN classified: "1995 Porsche 993, black with tan leather, nice condition with lots of extras like tri flow exhause & 18" speedline wheels. Best looking 993 in town! AC, all power, 6 speed, CD player $34,000 503-240-0982
Also: "RELOCATING-MUST SELL '95 Porsche 993 coupe, black w/tan leather int, six speed, dual PSts, 17" wheels, new tires, 72,799 miles. $35,000. To view call 503-762-6280" Now that I've expanded the advertising base? Yeah, I'd say the prices on used '95 models seems to be in a decline? Both probably what I'd consider high mileage? After all, my '72 has yet to turn 49,000...

These cars are not going to be given away. I believe you will get what you pay for in a 993. Higher miles, more maintenence, and its not cheap. I wont use the 95 is a less desirable remark, however, they do lack the varioram and the additional 10 ponies. And ponies on a porsche are much $$$. You might find a diamond in the rough, or you might catch up to the prrce of a lower miles better maintained 993 fast, real fast. I paid 41k for a 96 with 53k, fair enough for me.
