Question for Wayne - Thread subscription
Why is it when I subscribe to a thread and then get notified that a new response has been added to that thread, the e-mail in my inbox is dated the day before.
For example: I subscribed to the solid motor mount thread I just got notified that a response was added. It showed up in my e-mail inbox dated Thursday. But the header of the e-mail is dated Friday. I use Yahoo mail if that makes a difference. Is there a reason for this? I reside in California so there should be no dateline issues. :) |
Have you properly set your time-zone in your user control panel? It will probably date emails based upon your location, which is set at the GMT borderline if you don't update it...

My time is set to (GMT -08.00) Pacific time. Is ther someplace else I have to look?
Thanks |
I'm having problems with email responses to threads as well. Same sort of problems having to do with dates. Sometimes the email response is a day or two later.

Email works fine for me on this end. Anyone else having problems?

The email notification I got for you last message came dated today. Although it is not listed as the latest message (i.e. at the top of the page of messages in my inbox) Did you change anything?
This is not a big deal just a littel annoyance. |
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 04:25 AM. |
