				H1 head light seal question

			I have a H1's on my 1981 911sc. I noticed in the Pelican catalogue, there is a seal - 911-631-967-00-OEM.

Can some one post a picture how this fits in the assembly? Thanks, Dave

there are pics on here ,,, somewhere try a search for "H-1" (I've added that to some threads with only the term H1 in them so they could be searched

or... use a Google site search as it allows 2 character search terms be sure to tie the $1,000 beauties into the car's bowl with zip ties or cord in case they ever pop out, so they won't fall on the hwy at 135 mph |

I just picked up the car and the highbeams didnt work. No relays, and I want to add 100w H1 bulbs or the 100w-130w bulbs. Will the 81 SC alternator supply the 100w-130w bulbs? Sorry for all the questions. Dave

You definitely need to install relays to the low and high beams or you will fry your electrics running the more powerful bulbs. The alternator will handle it but stocw wiring and switches will melt without relays installed |

you might go for ceramic connectors also

do check all wiring for any corrosion or discoloration treat rust in the headlight buckets; check seals on the wire runs think about city lights |

I'm pretty sure not all H1s came with city lights. Mind don't have them, though I know some do.

I second the thought about using ceramic connectors and using a relay for the High and low beams. |

right - the thing is to think about whether you want them or not & if so, LED or old school...

that switch is 200 plus bucks and the realy is 20 .. easy math , The switch never seems to work once you let the magic smoke escape. The relay helps keep it in.

i know you could get ceramic H-4 connections .. not sure about H-1 ..
