Mystery Button
 

Hi, what is this little button on the bottom right on mt vent controls? I've not seen it in any other pics and it's not in the manual or the Bentley.

PS I'm not sure why it keeps inserting the pic upside down. Oh well.

Looks like an after market alarm light to me???

Is the picture upside down or is the extreme super moon giving me hallucinations?:eek:
The "finish" of the hole does look aftermarket, whether an alarm as already suggested or a supplemental lighting switch...

LigHt for an alarm is my guess as well. I have an alarm in my car installed for one of the POs. I have a small red LED in about that same area. It blinks when I open and close doors. I don't have a remote and have never armed the alarm. Last PO didn't either in the five years he had the car. One day I'll have the stones to remove the whole system. -J

Alarm seems a good guess. It doesn't seem to do anything.
