Dashboard Wiring Issues Airbag and Seatbelt
I have seen this issue in the past with others and hope someone can give some advice as to what set off this error.
I have a 1990 911 and had a Clifford alarm system removed that was causing issues and the previous owner just had it disconnected, once removed the Airbag and Seatbelt lights now appeared. The alarm guy said he only removed the wiring from the alarm system (looked to be about 100 wires there!) and and only left wiring going into front driver fender which he felt was the alarm horn and wiring going back to the rear of the car tucked under the carpet driver side by the door. the only thing I questioned was the relay he took out that was a Bosch 0 332 209 150 the others were Seimens and felt that may have been original but again he said it was the main power relay and other wires part of alarm. Also anyone know what a Cosmic Directional Bleeper is and Bleeper is correct it was under the dash with 3 wires attached looks aftermarket for something. Any thoughts would be appreciated! |

this taken from another on line blog ....
Recently you directed me to a few possible sources of a direction indicator bleeper to warn me I had them on when the visual warning was hard to see. I'm pleased to say I eventually found one at a branch of Les Smith - it's the Cosmic Automotive Electronic Direction Indicator Bleeper. D.R., Angmering a gimeky device that beeps while your turn signal is on.. i would say your issue stems from the seat belt buckle. You may need to have the airbag light reset.
