Stock 1981 911sc heat exchangers?
Just bought this 1981sc and was curious if this was the stock heat exchangers ? It has a B&B 2 in 1 out muffler and has a droning sound at 2500-2800rpm.
Th heating system works fine. ![]() ![]()

Those are not stock, don't know what they are. Maybe someone else can zero in on brand. Warren

looks like they welded SS boxes around straight headers. It works great. The under side was/is very clean other that the HE's. Wasn't a deal breaker. I guess a lot less that the price of SSI's.

Definitely not stock. They kinda look like the heat exchangers that Brian (Rarlyl8) is now making (I think). But those don't look quite right from what I remember Brian's looking like either.
