Engine weight

Anyone know the weight of 3.0 motor complete withe exhaust but NO trans

I used to know that. I think 575 pounds for engine and a 915 transmission. Most of that is the tranny, though. Just the engine? 200-250 ...maybe?

300lb tranny? I must be pretty strong, just lifted it into the back of my truck, with the mount on it!

I'm thinking approx. 350 for motor, 150 915...

I side with GaryR. I'm 62 and can pick one up and put it in the truck. I prefer not to thought.

The engine is about 400lbs. It's really heavy and awkward to lift if you are thinking of doing this with people power.
The 915 isn't all that heavy maybe around 150lbs like Gary said.
