My windshield is pitted from use and time. It has a bunch of fine scratches in it and I have seen glass polishes before. I am wondering if any of you have tried this and does it work well or not?

I bought one of those pitted-windshield-polishing kits from, I think, Eastwood. Useless. You're welcome to it if you want to waste your time on it.

I drove a car with a polished windshield once (BMW 2002). It had distortion to the glass. I don't think I'd do it.
