71 T exterior emblems
Picked up a 71 T, have the COA and it states it has the "comfort group" has rocker mldgs etc. My question, the "targa" and "911 T" emblems are silver, while the "PORSCHE" lettering on the lower deck lid is gold. Is this correct for a 71 or did somebody change this out somewhere along the way.? Any help appreciated

JR,
I have a 71T, Pastel blue. I just looked and both the PORSCHE and 911T on mine are gold. I am not sure how Porsche decided which cars got gold or silver, or even a mix? I would also post this on the body/paint forum. There are some Pelicans that contribute on that forum who have first hand knowledge of the Porsche logic. JR:
Check the web site 911t.pca.org/options. It is an official Porsche document for the 70T (assumed the same as '71), but doesn't address items such as driving lights and sway bars. Al |
