Replacing Fog Light Bulbs?
I want to replace my 55W fog lamp bulbs with 100W. Should I consider making any other mods, or is it just a metter of replacing bulbs?

OK...now I might be wrong but...when I replaced ours with the H3 lamps, I saw that they came in different watts 55w & 100w. I think the 100w is fine.
Please...anyone feel free to correct me.

I tried this and found the bulbs will only last a few hours. In order to use 100W Fog Lamp bulbs, you need a high power relay wired into your fuse panel or else you'll just keep blowing bulbs
 I couldn't be bothered, so I went back to 55W units. |

Merv, good to hear (in another post) that you are right for Sunday. Back on the topic of this thread, out of interest what's a 55W bulb worth?
I ask because I GOT CHARGED $85 last time!

You are not serious? The under bumper fog lamps? I bought 2 at the local auto parts for about $3.50. They wouldnt. You didnt. Surely. Where would you like your bridge delivered? stuart |

They could. And I did. I was busy. The car was in for a majoring. They put it on the bill. I argued, I haggled, I complained and whined. But alas, they could so they did. They also charged $40 for 2 wiper blades.
