What "type" gearbox from just serial #?
Any way to determine what "type #" gearbox I had from just the COA gearbox serial #? I have a '69E and per the COA the serial # was 7195262. I haven't had any luck determining what the type # was. Any help is greatly appreciated. If it helps any the engine serial # was 6291279. Thanks.

BTW, the COA didn't have the type # listed next to the serial #.

901/13 5-speed is correct for that serial #.

I keep this bookmarked since so many members here don't have the spec books. Great reference thread from the Pelican archives.

Anybody know what the type 3 "optional ratio" means?
Is this desirable?
