Pelican shopping website improvement suggestion

Every project guide page should have an easy one click parts to buy list.
The current part lists are incomplete and are simply links to the product listings.

For example, aren't they 2 types of O-rings needed per injector ?

It's also OK to include more items than absolutely necessary. I don't mind pruning a buy list of items I already have.

I'm sure this would be a massive undertaking but being able to click through the parts diagrams to the parts in the store would be nice.

Years back Wayne added the parts diagram breakout similar/like what is shown in PET. Porsche had him remove them - I guess they considered them Porsche IP and copyright infringement.

Hi all. Thanks for the note. Yes, we have integrated our catalog data with our tech articles to provide and list all of the parts that should be needed for each project. As you might imagine, it's thousands of hours to do this, and we're constantly working on updating and improving it. Each article may fit different cars, so the parts have to be linked to each make/model/year of car, and then the part numbers / sizes may change too. In the case of an easy one like this, it's fairly straightforward, but something like a clutch replacement article becomes a huge undertaking.

Still, we're always working on it!

thx,

Wayne

Wayne,

What might make the job easier is to set it up similar to the Wizards for major projects.
