Muffler Question

Most of work on the car so far has been about the interior, now I'm starting on some planning for the engine.

The engine I'm going to install has B&B headers with heat exchangers and no muffler. They have a 3 bolt flange where the muffler bolts up. Most of the photos of I can find of 3.0 exhausts show a two bolt flange.

Would a muffler shop just weld on a new flange to the muffler I choose or do I need to buy a B&B muffler?

Muff mods are easy and for the most part cheap. Try to find a shop that doesn't add the Porsche Tax.....not rocket science. They can use after market muffs and build from scratch.

The fun part is driving down there w/o a muff.
