Question '68 912 Rear Suspension set-up, need advice

I am setting up the rear suspension of my stock 1968 912. The rear swing arms are disconnected from the spring plates. My next step is to set the angle of the spring plate relative to the car which is currently at level with the ground. I am interested in the euro-spec ride height and want to know the degree setting for the spring plates. The factory manual states 37 degrees. Would this be the euro-spec height?

1968 did not have a Euro spec vs US spec. I have the official Porsche technical specifications booklet in front of me. 1965 - 1967 912's are set to 33 degrees with the 23mm rear torsion bar. 1968 912's are set to 36 degrees to account for the 1mm smaller rear torsion bars.

So it depends upon which torsion bars you are using.
