One of the nicest 964 backdates I've seen

Often wondered how you get the rockers to look right on these 964 backdates. ...havent put a trmendous amount of thought to it but most seem to look wrong to my eye.

This one looks great, fuchs look good too. Check it out!

Nice work. I realize its not a Singer but it also probably costs 1/5th of a Singer to achieve a similar goal.

Yeah I love how they extended the front and rear bumpers subtly it looks great with out the big additions. That exhaust does sound good - looks pricey.

This was certainly done to a very high standard and the completed car is beautiful. But, in the same way people look at all of the long hood cars that were updated to the newest style back in the eighties with a bit of sorrow now, I think it is a bit of a shame that all of these more modern cars are being backdated to look like long hoods. Whatever is the current fashion. That was a nice 964.

What do you think that costs, with the car - $100K?

Yeah I would not start with a factory RS thats for sure.

DP Motorsport has completely out done themselves. I have been drooling over this car for quite sometime. DP has been pumping out some really unique work over the last several years Their lightweights are incredible. This RS is my absolute favorite. While most likely not as expensive as a Singer, this 911 has a lot of attention to detail. I am sure this 911 is not inexpensive. Looks like about $10,000 for the body alone and $5,700 for the wheels, not including shipping and installation.

I want!!!

I'm surprised they used fiberglass flares on such a high end build, lessens the overall quality IMO.

They are beautiful But I agree too, why take "nice" 964's or 911's , certainly there are enough rough shape insignificant (project) ones out there to begin with, seeing that these backdates are near full resto-mods anyway . I know, I know, "starting with a good base thing", but gheesh golly if this keeps up, I'm going to start hoarding up all the nice 911's & 964's & protect them in a locked up undisclosed location

They do not use steel. They never did, but the idea here is light weight.

You take a nice 964 because it's better than a bad 964!! And because you can! If I was going to spend that kind of money you bet I would start with a good base.

thats fine, but a 964RS... and Im assuming its a ROW at that (those are a lot more special than a RSA).... I would draw the line there.
