LINKS to helpful websites

i tried to do a search for "links" but nothing really came up. i know others have done posts with links to good sites but they may be lost in time.
lets try to keep this to just links only. if you need to subscribe, please use the thread tools.
some of these i have not read. if the site has no good info let me know.
some of these sites are not "porsche" sites, but may have general info that i thought was good to know. I did not want to list anything that has parts for sale unless there was good info on it.

i have to put this one at the top. it is an excellent read about pre-ignition and detonation:

Let me see if I can find or build a matrix for all of the CV bolt diameters and lengths.

Which used schnorrs and moon plates, which did not.

Associated torque settings.

Non Porsche part numbers if you want to add moon plates.

Lots of info in the forums. Somebody had to have done something like this.

Edit: Here is a great link. Not condensed but pay attention to what Grady Clay says.

Here's a link the was posted on this forum a long time ago. It has a lot of Pelican links organized by topic. I wish we had a page like this in the PP Technical articles section.
