"It's a German Thing" video on Petrolicious

Nicely done short video on Wilholt's German, worth checking out. Cool cars and shop.

Boy that guy that wouldn't let drive was jerk. Hope he did some work for him in the years to come and gouged him plenty.

I don't let anyone drive my car either. Well, actually I let my brother drive it and within a minute behind the wheel, it was like I let him loose on a roller coaster. Never again. He can get his own.

Great video!

That was great! Thanks for sharing!

For years I've loved the 911. I've been a hot rod guy most of my life and resisted getting into early Porsches simply for the fact that I knew what I was familiar with. Then, one day, my Dutch Brother, Maurice van den Tillaard, told me he was thinking about getting this little '72 RS clone up in NorCal. He ended up getting the car and while staying with us for a couple weeks while in the states, we went for a ride up the 405 to LA... That's all it took. It was all over.

Yes, 200k for a full restoration, and extra for bodywork, and a year waiting list. On the other hand, jewel-like quality.

And the personal blue car was more of a hot rod with a short stroke 3.2. So not a purely by-the-book philosophy. The video was similarly a high quality effort.

Amazing video but it did have a down side....Right after seeing it I started doing some research on purchasing a 911 of my own.

All the work Petrolicious does is great quality and well thought out.
